DBPR Mobile Food Vendor Fair Announces Corporate Sponsor, Live Entertainment

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) today announced it has obtained a corporate sponsor, The Northwood Centre, for its mobile food vendor fair on December 9th at its Tallahassee headquarters. The event, which will include many of Leon County’s mobile food vendors, will also feature live entertainment from Mimi and the HearnDogs, a local band.
DBPR licenses and regulates all food service establishments in the state, including mobile food vendors and hot dog carts. As the most rapidly growing segment of the Department’s food service licensees, mobile food vendors are a vital part of the state’s economy. The fair is part of a continued initiative for the Department and Secretary Ken Lawson to meet licensees and encourage small business development.
DBPR’s headquarters is in the Northwood Centre located at 1940 North Monroe Street in Tallahassee. The fair will be held from 4pm to 6pm and is open to the public.
