Renewal alert

In accordance with DBPR: Emergency Order 2020-05 issued April 30, 2020, the renewal for all Employee Leasing licenses including; Controlling person, Individual and Group Companies, has been extended from April 30, 2020 to June 1, 2020.

Paperless Licensing, effective 01/04/2018

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation is excited to announce an advancement in how we license employee leasing companies in the State of Florida.
The Department has implemented an innovative way to expedite the licensing process for employee leasing companies and controlling persons. The Department will no longer be mailing licenses upon issuance, as licensees can now print their licenses by logging into their secure online account with the Department. This will allow new licensees to enter the work force at least 7 to 10 business days early, whereas, in the past, they would have to wait for the license to arrive in the mail. In addition to new licenses, this process will allow licensees to renew online and print the license at their convenience.

Deadline Extension

Due to Hurricane Irma, the deadline for submitting 2017 Employee Leasing Company second quarter reports has been extended from September 15, 2017 to October 23, 2017. Quarterly reports will be considered late if filed after October 23, 2017.

Employee Leasing Companies Deadline Extension FAQs

Effective immediately the board will require all employee leasing companies to comply with Rule 61G16-10.0014, F.A.C. This rule requires DBPR form EL- 4522 “Quarterly Compliance Form” be completed and filed on the same schedule as the quarterly reporting form. This form will be due on or before 75 days after each calendar quarter. The first submission is due with the September 2008 quarterly reports, which are due on or before December 15, 2008.
