Dear Friends,

At the beginning of each year, I ask my senior leadership team and all Division Directors to come up with new goals they would like their respective areas or Division to achieve over the next year. This week, I met with each of them and asked them to explain their goals, specifically discussing how those goals would help improve the service we offer to our customers. Personally, I pledged to ensure that we continue to increase efficiency, create a DBPR branded annual conference and continue to become a better leader. I believe these goals are necessary so that I may be the best leader I can be for our external customers as well as the more than 1,500 employees that are under my leadership.

I am excited to see all of the ideas presented by DBPR senior staff come to fruition over this year because I know that these goals will certainly allow us to better serve those we license and regulate as well as the people of this great state. We know that our work is never done, and we are dedicated to being the best we can be. It is a pleasure to serve you, and each day I appreciate the opportunity to continue doing so!
