Customer interaction and outreach is one of the most important things we do here at DBPR because it allows us to get to know our licensees as well as help those who are seeking to obtain licensure in Florida. By offering customers direct access to our subject matter experts as much as possible, we are helping people get to work one customer at a time. This week, I was happy to announce our plans for the second annual Customer Assistance Days at the Florida Capitol.
The CustomerAssist program was developed to provide customers who may need assistance with license applications with a direct and personal point of access to the Department. Additionally, this program provides another point of access to our more than one million licensees should they have any questions about their license.
The following businesses and professions will be represented from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 4pm on the Plaza level of the Florida Capitol on the following dates:
-March 5: Regulation
-March 6: Cosmetology
-March 7: Construction
-April 17: Hotels and Restaurants
-April 18: Real Estate
-April 24: Condominiums and Cooperatives/Regulation
-April 25: Construction
-May 1: Cosmetology
-May 2: Hotels and Restaurants/Construction
Additionally, the Central Intake Unit, which processes applications for the Department’s licenses, will also be available on March 6 and 7, April 18, April 25 and May 1 to answer questions about license application processes.
Our customers are vital to the state’s economy, and we are very excited to have the opportunity again to personally reach out and assist them with any questions they have. We hope to see you at the Capitol!
