This weekend is St. Patrick’s Day – a day for green drinks, corned beef and lots o’ luck. But staying safe takes more than luck – it takes a commitment to follow Florida’s beverage laws. Our Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) will be patrolling bars and other licensed premises this weekend to identify underage drinking or sales of alcohol to minors. This is an essential part of keeping our residents and communities safe and helping them enjoy a safe holiday.

Remember, selling alcohol to someone under the age or 21 or being under 21 and in possession of alcohol is illegal and can result in fines or even time in jail. Enjoy this holiday, but do so safely and make sure you are following Florida’s beverage laws.
