Here at the Department, we are always looking for ways to improve our licensing processes and make the experience our customers have with us even better. Recently, our team was hard at work to implement our new licensing software Versa: Regulation. I am proud to announce this upgrade will not only preserve our investment in the Department’s database and business processes developed over the past 12 years, but it will also lower the long term cost of system maintenance.
Through this system, we will now be able to provide a comprehensive view of all data related to a license. This means that DBPR staff can now navigate any licenses, transactions, complaints or other information related to customer accounts with a single click. This new system is part of our continuing efforts to make the application process easier to navigate and to streamline the process so the time to obtain a license is reduced.
We are excited about Versa: Regulation and thrilled to see its positive impact on our licensees. I am certain that this update will continue our commitment to our mission to license efficiently and regulate fairly and I look forward to better serving the state of Florida.
