Home Inspectors

Home Inspectors pre-licensure education courses

The list below includes courses that have been approved by the Construction Industry Licensing Board to meet the hurricane mitigation training requirement as described in 627.711, Florida Statutes for Home Inspectors. These courses include hurricane mitigation techniques, compliance with the uniform mitigation verification form, and a proficiency exam.

Certified Public Accountants - UPDATE FOR CPE REPORTING

Effective with the re-establishment period ending June 30, 2011, CPAs are no longer required to submit their CPE to renew a current active license.  The licensee still must complete required CPE by June 30th of their renewal year.  Documentation evidencing course completion should be retained by the licensee for at least two years after the current renewal period in the event the licensee is selected for the CPA audit. The use of the below form is strictly for your own records. Do not submit the form to Bureau of Education & Testing.

Hair braiders, hair wrappers, and body wrappers are required to complete a board approved HIV/AIDS training course prior to the biennial expiration of their registration. See board rule 61G5-31.005, Florida Administrative Code.

Real Estate Appraiser

The Department advises Real Estate Appraiser licensees that some courses, in addition to Florida's approval, also require approval by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) and International Distance Education Certification Center (IDECC). Please verify with your provider that their courses currently have all the necessary approvals.
