If you are a Real Estate Instructor and would like to be added to our email distribution list, please send your request to: REInstructors@dbpr.state.fl.us. This is a common email address to be used solely by the Instructors to send specific exam questions or issues to the Bureau's Psychometric Unit.
Construction Examination Update
November 1, 2012 Glass & Glazing and Marine Specialty Trade Knowledge examinations were moved to Computer Based Testing format (CBT). Specific for these two categories:

Construction Contractors: Trade Knowledge as well as Contract Administration and Project Management examinations are available in Spanish and the request must be made during completion of the application with the contracted vendor, Professional Testing Inc. (PTI)
CERTIFIED DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE (CDR)
CDR laws & rules examination will be transitioned to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation beginning October 1st, 2011. Electronic Fingerprinting:
Electronic Fingerprinting is required for the following profession, through the DBPR contracted vendor Pearson VUE:
Real Estate, Construction, Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco Applicants, Community Association Manager, Athlete Agent, Talent Agency and Employee Leasing Company, Home Inspectors, Mold Assessors and Mold Remediation!

Continuing Education:
Home Inspectors Pre-licensure Courses are required to include qualifications of the instructors when submitting course applications. To eliminate delays and expedite the approval process, providers must include a detailed Instructor’s resume’ with their applications. The 20 hours of “Field Experience” must be directly supervised by a Florida Licensed Home Inspector.
CPE Form and instructions for Certified Public Accountants
As of 2011 re-establishment period, CPA licensees are no longer required to report their CPE hours but are still subject to participation in the CPA CPE audit program. This form is only to assist licensees maintain a record of their CPE credits and should not be submitted to Bureau of Education & Testing. Licensees should also maintain their certificates of completion for at least two years in case they are selected to participate in the audit program.
