On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, Interim Secretary Charlie Liem announced the five winners of the 2010 "Why Not?" Spring Break Video Contest. Winners were chosen by a panel of judges, representing: the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Governor's Office of Drug Control, the Department of Education, Florida State University and Tri-Eagle Sales.
Each winning group received a $1,000 Best Buy gift card, made possible by sponsors: The Florida Retail Federation, The Charmer Sunbelt Group, Beer Industry of Florida, Tri-Eagle Sales and Miami Beach Coalition.
