BIAS BASED PROFILING
The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Bureau of Law Enforcement, strictly prohibits the use of bias based profiling in all field contacts, vehicle stops, asset seizure, and forfeiture efforts. Bias based profiling is the selection of an individual based solely on a trait common to a group for enforcement action. This includes, but is not limited to: race, ethnic, background, gender, sexual orientation, religion, economic status, age, cultural group, or any other identifiable group. Any citizen that believes he or she is a victim of bias based profiling should file a complaint with the Inspector General.
