Reactivation
Reactivating a delinquent or inactive license requires the licensee complete penalty continuing professional education credits, plus the hours for the current period and paying the appropriate fees.
For application package, including required number of CPE credits, please click here.
Null and void licensees must meet the new rule education requirements and successfully retake the CPA examination before they will be issued a license. However, null and void licensees who can demonstrate substantial hardship can petition the board to be allowed to reactivate a null and void license.
A licensee must submit their petition in writing, including an explanation for the hardship, and send to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, 1940 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0783. Petitions will be placed on the next regularly scheduled board agenda and the licensee will be notified of the Board’s decision.
