Hospitality Education Program FAQ

1. Q. How do I contact the Hospitality Education Program (HEP)?
A. Due to recent legislation, HEP's sole purpose will be administering the school-to-career grant program. The division has begun implementing this new law by discontinuing the HEP training program and eliminating HEP-provided services, including the HEP office. You may contact the division through the department's Customer Contact Center at 850.487.1395.
2. Q. How do I comply with the HEP training requirements in my Final Order?
A. Due to recent legislation, HEP's sole purpose will be administering the school-to-career grant program. The division has begun implementing this new law and discontinued HEP's training program July 10, 2009. You are no longer required to complete the HEP training to comply with the Final Order. However, you must still complete all other Final Order requirements. You should contact your settlement officer with questions about your Final Order or the HEP training requirement.
3. Q. How do I obtain brochures, posters, and other information previously provided by HEP?
A. The brochures, posters, and other information previously provided by HEP are still available on the division’s website.
