Florida Building Code
The Florida Building Code, adopted by the 2000 Florida Legislature to provide uniform regulations throughout the state, is adopted by the Florida Department of Community Affairs by rule 9B-3.047, Florida Administrative Code. The 2004 edition of the code became effective July 1, 2005. Chapters applicable to the division are:

Florida Fire Prevention Code
The Florida Fire Prevention Code is an adaptation of NFPA 1 and NFPA 101. It is adopted as amended by Chapter 69A-60, Florida Administrative Code.
