Board Member Certification can be completed online through Edison State College at www.LifeLongLearning.eCollege.com. Board member certification requires the completion of courses in four topics (Part 1 and Part 2) but additional courses are available. Additional courses include legal updates, financial guides, banking issues, landscaping tips, disaster recovery, even concrete restoration. All are fun, interactive and educationally sound.
These courses were created by the education professionals at Edison State College and a team of Subject Matter Experts who understand the importance of providing the newly required courses in an easy two-part package approved for board members by the state. Each course contains audio clips, video clips, readings, activities and a printable certificate of completion.

- The Office of the Condominium Ombudsman
The Office of the Condominium Ombudsman is a Division approved condominium education provider authorized to issue students a certificate of satisfactory completion of the educational curriculum mandated for service on the board of directors of a condominium association by s. 718.112(2)(d)3 b, Florida Statutes. Educational classes are regularly scheduled in the South Florida area at both Broward and Palm Beach Colleges and other venues around the state, subject to availability and budget considerations. Presented by Bill Raphan, with assistance from Susan Raphan, courses are generally three hours in length, interactive, and may include mock meetings and elections.
Course topics include: Condominium Board Certification, Serving on the Board of Directors, Condominium Meetings, Condominium Rights and Obligations, Condominium Elections, Condominium Rules and Regulations, Basic Condominium Finances, and Association Authority and Responsibility.
