Secretary Announces
New Program

Dear Friends,

Through meeting with our customers and attending board and commission meetings, I’ve learned how valuable the input of our licensees is to our business practices. No one can provide better insight into how well our Department functions than the end-user.

Working in a statewide agency based in Tallahassee is sometimes challenging, as I’m not readily able to meet with customers in other areas of the state. In an effort to bridge the gap and bring a piece of the Department right to the customers we serve, we are beginning our “On the Road to Better Business” tour this summer.

During “On the Road to Better Business,” I will work from district offices across the state and provide the opportunity for licensees to meet with me in person. I’d like to think of these visits as listening sessions, where licensees can tell me about their experiences with the Department and offer suggestions. I will bring this feedback back to Tallahassee and work to alter processes in order to better serve you.

I will keep you informed of when and where I’ll be. I look forward to meeting each of you and opening the lines of communication so we can work together on making business better.
