Florida is a state that is largely supported by our tourism industry, with our beautiful beaches, incredible hiking trails, and rich historical and cultural attractions. This industry is largely supported by the hotel and restaurant industries, which is why it was such an honor to have the opportunity to speak to the Florida Restaurant and Lodging (FRLA) Government Relations Committee in Naples this week. I truly enjoyed meeting so many of our valuable customers and gathering their feedback on how DBPR regulates these businesses.
Because we have a strong commitment to making Florida the best place for businesses to grow, we are always looking for ways to improve, and I was able to report to the FRLA that we are working on several initiatives that will benefit the businesses and professionals we regulate. We will keep working hard to serve our customers better because Florida's businesses and the people who run them are the key to getting our state back to work.
