Dear Friends,

College football season is just around the corner, and I know thousands of Floridians will spend time at stadiums, tailgating parties and backyard barbecues across our state this fall, cheering on their favorite teams and athletes. I love college football, as I'm sure many of you do, and I've been looking forward to this season for months.

Here at DBPR, we play a special role in helping protect fans and spectators at the games. Our own Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco agents frequently work game details, providing a uniformed presence and making sure that people are following the law when it comes to drinking and using tobacco products. It's important work, and I appreciate the efforts our agents make to ensure everyone enjoys a safe football season - win, lose or draw.
