Dear Friends:

I have to admit that I was reluctant when social networking was becoming popular, thinking it was just the latest thing kids were doing. Then, I realized it is a great way to share photos, videos and e-mails with friends and family. Even outside of friends and family, it provides a great way to communicate important information. That's why now you can find DBPR on Facebook.

We've created a profile so we can open one more line of communication with licensees, industry members and consumers. In addition to providing general information about DBPR, the DBPR page on Facebook will provide links to recent news releases, upcoming board meetings, updates on renewal periods and rule changes, consumer advisories, short videos, photo albums, and more. Facebook users can find DBPR, become a fan and stay current on news by searching "Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation."
