Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that effective October 31st, we will welcome Leon Biegalski as the new Director to our Division of Pari-Mutuel Wagering. Leon has 18 years of government experience including 13 years here at DBPR, two and a half of which were as an attorney for PMW.

Since his time here at DBPR, Leon has served in various leadership roles at the Department of Transportation as well as the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I am confident that Leon will do an extraordinary job for PMW, the Department as a whole and our licensees.
