November 10, 2010 Dear Friends, On Election Day last week, I could not help but think of the timing of Veterans Day. I am always thankful for those who have served our country, and I am especially grateful following an election. As Americans, we are afforded the right to actively participate in the selection of our government leaders, a freedom we surely would not enjoy without the service and sacrifice of our military men and women. Tomorrow, as we celebrate and honor America's veterans, I hope you will take the time to thank a veteran for his or her patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve for our common good. It is because of the men and women who have bravely served our country that we are able to enjoy so many of the freedoms afforded to us as Americans. To all veterans, past and present, and your families, thank you for your service to our country and the efforts and sacrifices you have made to protect our freedom. Sincerely, ![]() Charlie Liem Department of Business and |
