Dear Friends,

As Secretary, licensee outreach is one of my top priorities and frankly one of the best and most exciting parts of this job. I believe that our role as a Department is to ensure we are not getting in the way of business; rather, regulations must be smart and cannot be cumbersome for businesses.

As part of my efforts to reach out to a growing segment of our licensees and promote local small business growth throughout our state, I am excited to host our first ever Mobile Food Vendor Fair next Friday, December 9th, from 4-6 p.m. at our Tallahassee headquarters. The event is sponsored by the Northwood Centre and will feature a live local Tallahassee band.

Since becoming Secretary, I have pledged that we are partners with our licensees and I am dedicated to doing what we can to ensure that Florida is the best place for businesses to operate and thrive. If you are in the Tallahassee area, I encourage you to attend this delicious event.
