Dear Friends:

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve, and it's time to reflect on 2010 and set goals for the upcoming year.

Our resolutions for 2011 will be in the same spirit of our accomplishments from the past year. We will continue to seek out and remove burdensome regulation, provide excellent customer service, and streamline our processes. Our focus will continue to be finding ways to make doing business in Florida easier and more efficient.

Finally, our alcoholic beverage licensees play a pivotal role in protecting our underage youth from alcohol consumption, and this is particularly important on New Year's Eve. I would like to ask alcoholic beverage retailers throughout the state to check and carefully scrutinize IDs this New Year's Eve and join the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco in their mission to keep our youth safe.
