Dear Friends,

As part of our annual effort to help keep Floridians and visitors safe during the Spring Break season, our Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) will be patrolling popular Spring Break destinations to identify underage drinking or sales of alcohol to minors. Keeping alcohol away from underage kids is an important priority for the Department, and we take our responsibility to keep residents and guests safe while they are enjoying their Spring Break very seriously.

Throughout the month of March, enforcement patrols will be in Daytona Beach, Ft. Myers, Ft. Pierce, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Pensacola and Tallahassee. Additionally, because Panama City Beach remains one of the nation’s top Spring Break destinations, ABT will work closely with officials in Panama City to provide more concentrated efforts.
