Dear Friends,

Like many of you, college football season is one of my favorite times of year. This year, thousands of Floridians will be cheering on their favorite teams at tailgating parties and in the stands. This season is shaping up to be a great one, and I encourage all of you to celebrate your team’s successes safely.

The Department’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco (ABT) plays a very important role in protecting fans at many of the college football games across the state. ABT agents will regularly participate in details patrolling game day and tailgating areas helping to ensure that Florida’s beverage and tobacco laws are being followed. Our goal is to keep all spectators safe during this exciting time of year, and I hope you all enjoy the games safely. No matter who you root for, please stay safe and good luck this season!
