Transcription of Secretary Drago's December 19, 2008 video message

 

Hi.  Happy Holidays.  I’m Chuck Drago. 

You know, this is my favorite time of the year.  This is a time when I can look back over the past year and think about the accomplishments we’ve had during the past year and think about how blessed I am to be a part of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. 

You know, you’ve heard me talk before about how great our employees are, but I want to just tell you a couple of things that point out just how great they are.  One, is during this holiday season, our employees have gathered together and donated bicycles, food, clothing, toys to folks less fortunate than themselves. 

Also, I’d like to mention that our Division of Technology is going to be staying here in town during the holidays to make sure we have no technology issues during that period of time.  We want to make sure that all of our systems are working even during the holiday season. 

And I want to thank all of the employees with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for their support they’ve given me all through the year, that they’ve given to Governor Crist and that they’ve given to the people of Florida.  This is a great place to work and I really appreciate being a part of it. 

And, I also want to thank all of our licensees for all the help they’ve given us, for their input, for their guidance, for their partnership.  I want to thank everybody for working with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. 

So, I want to wish everybody Happy Holiday and Merry Christmas.
