Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Invites Consumers to Meet him "On the Road to Better Business" in Tallahassee

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation is taking its business directly to the customers; Secretary Charles W. Drago will be in the DBPR Tallahassee headquarters on Wednesday, Dec. 3, to meet with licensees and consumers in the area.
“On the Road to Better Business” is designed to bridge the communications gap and bring a piece of the government right to the customers. As directed by Governor Crist through “Accelerate Florida: Extending Florida's Economic Horizons,” Secretary Drago has been charged with promoting less intrusive, more effective government.
The Department’s mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly. The Department licenses more than one million businesses and professionals ranging from real estate agents, veterinarians, and accountants to contractors and cosmetologists.
