The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) requires that new applicants be fingerprinted. Electronic submission of physical fingerprint cards is a convenient option for applicants for licensure.

Note: Renewal applicants with no lapse in licensure may already have retained fingerprints on file. Applicants for PMW General or Professional Occupational Licenses over the age of 70 will have a record check rather than fingerprints.
