ENDORSEMENT STATE EXAMS
(Substantially equivalent to or more stringent than those of this state)
Helpful Hint
When applying for a professional geology license by endorsement in the state of Florida, the Florida Board of Professional Geologists has determined that the state examinations in the following states are substantially equivalent to or more stringent than those of this state:
1) Alabama
2) Arizona
3) Arkansas
4) California
5) Georgia
6) Idaho
7) Kentucky
8) Minnesota
9) Missouri
10) North Carolina
11) Oregon
12) Pennsylvania
13) South Carolina
14) Wisconsin
15) Wyoming
Chapter 492, Florida Statutes (F.S.), also requires any applicant applying for licensure as a professional geologist by endorsement to:
· Meet the qualifications for licensure in Section 492.105(1)(b)-(e),F.S.
· Hold an active license in good standing in another state, trust, territory or possession in the United States, and
· Be licensed through a written examination in at least one state trust, territory or possession of the United States.
