Interesting Facts: Auctions today offer faster sales and greater monies than what the traditional sales methods can produce. A fast paced auction is one of the most efficient ways to convert your property and assets into immediate cash. An auctioneer license is not required by a real estate broker to conduct auctions as a part of the sale of real property, as defined in Section 475.01(1)(a), Florida Statutes. An auctioneer license is not required when an auction is conducted by the owner, or the owner’s attorney, of any part of the property being offered, unless the owner acquired the goods to resell.
