Interesting Facts:   The State of Florida has issued over 10,000 veterinarian licenses since the first license was issued in 1926 and has licensed over 3,000 animal clinics and hospitals since the first establishment license was issued in 1978. Florida requires one day shot clinics to obtain a license.
