Advantages of Business Section Stand-Alone Testing
Providing the Business section as a stand-alone test on the computer affords many advantages to candidates:
- A score (either for the Technical/Safety section or for the Business Computer-Based Test) that is good for a two-year period, allowing ample time for the candidate to complete the other half of the requirement
- A two and one half hour stand-alone Business CBT exam taken
at one of 15 vendor sites in the State of Florida
- On site scoring immediately after the Business CBT
- A separate date and time to take the Technical/Safety section so that candidates may study for and concentrate on each of the two parts separately
- No more than five hours in any one day devoted to testing
- A mere 21-day waiting period between successive attempts on the Business CBT unless the candidate is required to complete the seven hours of continuing/education
- Review of the failed Business CBT at the site that the CBT exam was originally taken
The CBT examinations are provided through a contracted vendor, Pearson Vue (Formerly Promissor), and are offered daily. Visit their home page at: http://www.Pearsonvue.com/
