Attention Prospective Electrical Contractor Examination Candidates:
Taking effect just before the March 8, 2005 exams, the Electrical Contractors’ Certification examinations will be offered in two parts: a Technical/Safety section (100 test questions, 5 hours) and a Business section (50 test questions, 2 ½ hours). The Business section is a Computer-based test administered by our professional testing service. Both parts are open-book exams. Each subscore is independent of the other and is stand-alone. Candidates must pass both subscored sections. In order to be licensed, a candidate must receive a subscore of 75% on each of the two sections.
