Talent Agency - Initial Licensure By Endorsement (TA 5)

EXPERIENCE: Prove at least 1 year of experience in the trade, such as, subagent, casting director, producer, director, advertising agency, talent coordinator, or musical booking agent.

SURETY BOND: Provide a $5,000 surety bond from a reputable (known for good business practices) company licensed to do bonding business in Florida.

OUT-OF-STATE LICENSE: Provide verification of holding a similar license issued by a state or territory of the United States, that shows the license has been valid, current license for at least 5 years, the license was active within 2 years of applying for licensure in this state; and there is no disciplinary action and all sanctions of any prior disciplinary actions have been satisfied. Applicants are required to provide a copy of the certificate of licensure and a copy of the statutes and/or rules that define the scope of work for the current license.

SCHEDULE OF FEES: Pursuant to §468.406(1), each applicant for a Talent Agency license shall file with the application an itemized schedule of maximum fees, charges, and commissions which it intends to charge and collect for its services.

CORPORATE ENTITY: If your Talent Agency is registered with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations as a Partnership, LLC or Corporation the organization name must exactly match on your application. If you intend to use a Fictitious Name, this information must match the name listed in the D/B/A section of the application. Note: If you intend to operate as a company you must register the company name with the Division of Corporations prior to submitting your application.

FEE: Pay the required fee as provided in the application. Please include a check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
