Apply for a Catering Plan Review Only
To begin Florida's food service licensing process, the law requires the division to review facility plans for sanitation and safety concerns. Plan review is required when the establishment is newly built. The application below is for a new Catering Service Establishment plan review only and requires a separate application for license.
Application Requirements: |
|
- Application: choose the correct application for your situation (Guide to Catering)
For Plan Review (if not using an already DBPR-licensed kitchen):
- Plans: scale drawing or architectural plans showing and labeling all equipment, restrooms, and exits (see Plan Review Guide)
- Menu: a copy of your menu, printed, typed, or handwritten
Note: This application does not include a license and provides plan review approval only. For new kitchens we recommend the License and Plan Review at the same time (COMBO) application, or you will need to follow-up with a license application once plan review is approved.
The follow-up license application is available through your online account once the plan review is approved.
If you are remodeling a DBPR-licensed kitchen, you can apply using your online account (click here for instructions on creating an account and linking licenses) or use the print app below.
To speed up the process and get open faster, make sure you have ALL of these when you apply.
