Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

36-34-5    Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust, or mold-like substance. Observed ceiling vent near front counter soiled.
14-09-4    Basic - Cutting board has cut marks and is no longer cleanable. Observed white cutting board located across the cook line with cut marks and no longer cleanable.
51-15-4    Basic - Establishment increased seating without providing written approval from the local fire authority and wastewater provider. Observed about twenty seats inside restaurant in lobby/lounge area.
36-22-4    Basic - Floor area(s) covered with standing water. Observed standing water on floor near three compartment sink.
36-17-5    Basic - Floor tiles missing and/or in disrepair. Observed floor tiles in disrepair in kitchen prep area.
08B-38-4    Basic - Food stored on floor. Observed can of cooking oil on floor near cook line.
23-03-4    Basic - Nonfood-contact surface soiled with grease, food debris, dirt, slime or dust. Observed hood filters at the cook line soiled. Observed reach in cooler next to mop sink with soiled gaskets.
22-16-4    Basic - Reach-in cooler interior/shelves have accumulation of soil residues. Observed several reach in coolers with soiled interiors.
36-27-5    Basic - Wall soiled with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust. Observed wall behind cook line and mop sink soiled.
50-17-3    High Priority - Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license. Observed license expired October 1, 2025.
41-05-4    High Priority - Pesticide/insecticide labeled for household use only present in establishment. Observed can of roach spray for house hold use on chemical storage shelf.
03A-02-5    High Priority - Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed sweet plantains (64F- Cold Holding) on prep table across the cook line. As per operator, item has been there for about an hour. Operator placed inside reach in cooler for rapid cooling. **Corrected On-Site**
41-10-4    High Priority - Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored. Observed paint thinner stored next to plantains on dry storage rack.
31B-02-4    Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. Observed no paper towels at hand wash sink near cook line.
31B-03-4    Intermediate - No soap provided at handwash sink. Observed no soap at hand wash sink located near cook line.
