A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Dead roaches on premises. 10 dead roaches in bucket of water under the reach in cooler across from the cookline. 1 dead roach on the drainboard on the 3 compartment sink. **Warning**
High Priority - Pesticide/insecticide labeled for household use only present in establishment. Raid Roach and Ant spray on frontline and on shelf under prep table. **Warning**
High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed live roach in the inside of a white refrigerator, 1 live roach on the exterior of the refrigerator, 1 live roach inside the reach in cooler across from the cookline, 3 live roach on the kitchen floor. 1 live roach on shelf under the steamtable. 1 inside a cardboard box under the prep table across from the cookline. 5 roaches on gasket inside of the pepsi cooler. 3 live roaches on the floor in the dining room. Establishment is open and operating. **Warning**
Intermediate - Handwash sink not accessible for employee use due to items stored in the sink. Storage containers in hand sink in the dishwasher area. **Repeat Violation** **Warning**
Intermediate - Ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food prepared onsite and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked. Product in walk in cooler. **Repeat Violation** **Warning**
