Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense food. Observed that a plastic bowl is being used as a scoop for garlic. The bowl was discarded. **Corrective Action Taken**
Basic - Plumbing system in disrepair. Observed hand wash sink next to the mop sink in the rear prep area is still detached from the wall. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Water leaking from pipe inside the walk-in cooler. Observed that water is leaking from the condenser drain in the walk-in cooler. **Repeat Violation**
High Priority - Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed that 2 containers of raw chicken wings are left out on the cooks line .
Intermediate - Establishment advertised catfish on the menu/menu board but served another type of fish.
Establishment still advertising catfish on the menu board and printed menus. Establishment still does not have any catfish on site and they do not have any recent invoices available. Observed 2 cases of swai in the walk-in cooler. **Repeat Violation** **Admin Complaint**
Intermediate - Interior of reach-in cooler soiled with accumulation of food residue. Observed that the interior of the 3 door lowboy reach-in cooler is soiled with food debris.
