Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

08B-02-4    High Priority - Displayed food not properly protected from contamination. Food without cover left on kitchen shelf ( rice/beans, black beans, mix vegetables) operator placed a cover on them. **Corrective Action Taken**
12A-04-5    High Priority - Employee handled soiled dishes or utensils and then handled clean dishes or utensils without washing hands.
03B-01-4    High Priority - Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) hot held at less than 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above. rice (127°F - Hot Holding)
35A-05-4    High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed 2 live roach crawling in the kitchen.
35A-04-4    High Priority - Rodent activity present as evidenced by rodent droppings found. Observed approximately more than 50 soft droppings behind the stainless steal covering part of the wall in the kitchen area. Observed approximately 12 dry droppings outside the container with dry food in the storage area, and approximately 20 dry ones behind the air conditioner unit.
16-33-4    Intermediate - Chemical test kit not used to ensure proper sanitization of equipment and utensils when using a chemical sanitizer. As evidence of new kit inside a bag in the office.
