A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Build-up of food debris, dust or dirt on nonfood-contact surface, all handles in kitchen area, reach-in coolers, refrigerators, gaskets, shelf bottoms at refrigerator and freezer. **Warning**
Basic - Ceiling/ceiling tiles/vents soiled with accumulated food debris, grease, dust. Vent and ceiling tile at men's rest room and ladies' rest room with dust, as well as vent to the exterior of the ladies' rest room. Ceiling tiles in kitchen are soiled. **Warning**
Basic - Equipment in poor repair. Observed lateral reach-in freezer with rusted lid, broken from frame, torn gaskets, across from ware washing. **Warning**
Basic - Exterior door has a gap at the threshold that opens to the outside, kitchen area. Window above dish storage at kitchen not fully sealed. Back door has broken frame and missing door knob so that sunlight can be seen through openings. **Warning**
Intermediate - Raw/undercooked animal food offered and establishment has no written consumer advisory. Raw animal foods must be fully cooked prior to service. Consumer advisory was not displayed in a manner where customers could see it, as it was behind other documents. Manager moved consumer advisory notice to area in plain sight. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**
