Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

14-05-4    Basic - Cardboard used to line food-contact shelves. Observed cardboard lining top of reach in cooler units, next to fryer station used to storage in use containers of various seasonings/baking flour.
51-09-4    Basic - Establishment did not report seating change that affects the license fee, Clean Indoor Air Act, sewage system approval or other related requirements. Observed approximately 40 outdoor seating. **Repeat Violation**
36-18-4    Basic - Floor tiles cracked, broken or in disrepair. Observed throughout kitchen area near walk in cooler.
36-11-4    Basic - Floors not maintained smooth and durable. Located at walk in freezer. **Repeat Violation**
08B-36-4    Basic - Food stored in a location that is exposed to splash/dust. Observed ice bin located behind front counter, without a cover/lid.
35B-04-4    Basic - Outer openings of establishment cannot be properly sealed when not in operation. Located at front counter area. **Repeat Violation**
23-09-4    Basic - Soiled reach-in cooler gaskets. Located at reach in cooler units throughout kitchen area.
03A-02-4    High Priority - Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Observed pikliz (shredded cabbage) (68°F - Cold Holding) in individual plastic containers held in storage container at room temperature, less than 4hrs. **Corrective Action Taken**
27-16-4    Intermediate - Hot water not provided/shut off at employee handwash sink. Observed hot water at kitchen handwash and handwash sink at employee restroom only reach 84°F after running water for approximately 5 minutes. **Warning**
27-06-4    Intermediate - No hot running water at three-compartment sink. Observed hot water at kitchen three compartment sink only reach 84°F after running water for approximately 5 minutes. **Warning**
53B-14-5    Intermediate - Required employee training expired for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233. Observed some employee food handler training certificates expired in April of 2019.
