Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

16-14-4    Basic - Drainboards or equivalent not large enough to accommodate all soiled and/or cleaned items. Observed not enough drain board to accommodate soiled/cleaned items.
40-07-4    Basic - Employee personal items stored with or above food, clean equipment and utensils, or single-service items. Observed employee bags stored next to food on kitchen shelf.
36-18-4    Basic - Floor tiles cracked, broken or in disrepair. Observed some cracked tile throughout the restaurant. **Repeat Violation**
08B-47-4    Basic - Food not stored at least 6 inches off of the floor. Observed chicken seasoning plastic container on kitchen floor. owner moved the food container 6 inches above the floor. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation**
14-31-4    Basic - Nonfood-grade bags used in direct contact with food. Observed spinach inside Thank you shopping market bag.
29-07-5    Basic - Plumbing system improperly installed or repaired. Observed cold running water line could not be open because the line was improperly installed and when running the water drains on the floor underneath the front counter.
14-67-4    Basic - Reach-in cooler gasket torn/in disrepair. Observed gaskets in disrepair ( reach in cooler located in the kitchen).
14-20-4    Basic - Ripped/worn tin foil used as food-contact shelf cover.
25-02-4    Basic - Unwrapped single-service utensils not presented so that only the handles are touched. Observed unwrapped plastic spoons, knives and forks improperly stored in a tray underneath the front counter.
02D-01-5    Basic - Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. Observed sugar inside a plastic container.
41-27-4    High Priority - Wiping cloth sanitizer solution exceeds the maximum concentration allowed. Observed chlorine sanitizer exceeding 200 ppm. Owner changed the water , then chlorine sanitizer at 100 ppm. **Corrected On-Site**
16-33-4    Intermediate - Chemical test kit not used to ensure proper sanitization of equipment and utensils when using a chemical sanitizer. Observed employees are not using the test kit to check the appropriate sanitizer concentration as evidence of chlorine solution exceeding 200 ppm. Employees were coached about using the test kit. **Corrective Action Taken**
53B-16-4    Intermediate - Employee has not received adequate training related to their assigned duties as evidenced by the inability to answer basic food safety questions. Employees were unable to offer right answer about the way to conduct manual warewashing. All employees were coached about how to conduct the procedure. **Corrective Action Taken**
31A-02-4    Intermediate - Handwash sink located in the front area not accessible for employee use due to being blocked by a seat . Employee moved it immediately to grant access to the handwash sink. **Corrected On-Site**
27-09-4    Intermediate - No cold running water at the handwash sink located in the front.
31B-03-4    Intermediate - No soap provided at handwash sink. Observed no soap at the handwash sink located in the front. Employee restocked the station. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation**
14-77-6    Intermediate - Reach-in cooler not maintained in good repair. Do not store potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food in this unit until the unit is repaired. Observed a reach in cooler inside the kitchen with ambient temperature of 60°f ( non-tcs food inside, just produce).
22-18-4    Intermediate - Soil residue in food storage containers. Observed food debris on clean containers stored underneath the steam table. Owner sent them to 3 compartment sink. **Corrective Action Taken**
48-04-4    Propane tank (larger than 2.7 lb. water capacity/1 lb. gas capacity) located inside of the building. For reporting purposes only. Observed establishment is using a gas propane tank connected to a portable stove to cook rice inside the kitchen area. Priority: Reporting
