Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below. The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws, which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code. High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing. Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure when necessary.

08B-30-4    Basic - Food stored in dry storage area not covered. Beans, rice in storage area. Manager closed container.
08B-12-4    Basic - Food stored in holding unit not covered. Sliced beef in reach in cooler in a bowl. Manager wrapped with plastic.
10-12-4    Basic - In-use ice scoop stored on soiled surface between uses.
29-49-5    Basic - Observed standing water in bottom of reach-in cooler. Make cooler.
23-09-4    Basic - Soiled reach-in cooler gaskets.
42-04-4    Basic - Storage of tools on shelf above or with food. Drill on spice container.
09-02-4    High Priority - Bare hand contact with ready-to-eat food while the establishment is under a foodborne illness investigation. Server scooped chips with bare hands. Manager got a scoop for chips.
08A-22-4    High Priority - Raw animal foods not properly separated from one another based upon minimum required cooking temperature in reach-in cooler. Eggs over sliced beef. Manager moved eggs
01B-03-4    High Priority - Stop Sale issued due to adulteration of food product. Chips from container.
53B-13-5    Intermediate - Proof of required state approved employee training not available for some employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
