A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
The department cites violations of Florida's sanitation and safety laws,
which are based on the standards of U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code.
High Priority violations are those which could contribute directly to a foodborne
illness or injury and include items such as cooking, reheating, cooling and hand-washing.
Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors
that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training,
documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered
best practices to implement. While most establishments correct all violations in a timely
manner (often during the inspection), the division's procedures are designed to compel
compliance with all violations through follow-up visits, administration action or closure
when necessary.
Basic - Employee beverage container on a food preparation table or over/next to clean equipment/utensils.
-Observed employee beverage stored on prep table in kitchen. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Food not stored at least 6 inches off of the floor.
-Observed buckets of soy sauce and cooking oil stored on floor in kitchen.
-Observed buckets of cooked pork stored on floor in walk in cooler. **Repeat Violation**
Basic - Stored food not covered.
-Observed plastic containers holding cooked noodles, shredded lettuce and raw broccoli stored on prep table in kitchen not protected. Operator covered containers and placed in reach in cooler for storage. **Corrective Action Taken**
High Priority - Operating with an expired Division of Hotels and Restaurants license.
-Observed DBPR license expired on 12/1/2020. Operator instructed to contact DBPR to renew license during Inspection.
Intermediate - Handwash sink not accessible for employee use due to items stored in the sink.
-Observed hand plastic jug and large spoon stored in hand sink next to cook line.
-Cook line hand wash sink blocked by ladder **Repeat Violation**
Intermediate - No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink.
-Front counter hand wash sink.
-No hand wash sign located at cook line hand wash sink. **Repeat Violation**
Intermediate - Ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared onsite and held more than 24 hours not properly date marked.
-Observed cooked pork, egg rolls, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken stored in walk in cooler no date marking. Operator states all foods prepared on 1/18/2021, instructed to immediately date mark all foods. **Repeat Violation**
