Certified Electrical Contractor - Examination (ECLB 8)
This application is used to apply for the Electrical Contractor exam. You must pass the state examination before you can apply for a license. The state exam is two parts; both parts are offered on computer at the vendors sites located throughout Florida.

- AGE: You must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: After passing the examination you will be required to prove you meet the experience requirements set forth in the instruction pages of the application for initial licensure. Applicants who do not meet the experience requirements will be denied licensure even if they have passed the examination. - EXAMINATION: For information about

- FEE: Pay the required fee as provided in the application. If applying online, you can pay with a credit card or electronic check. If mailing your application, please include a check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
- APPLICATION: Complete the application by clicking on the "Online Services" link or the "Printable Application" link at the bottom of the page.
