Geologist In Training - Initial Registration by Examination (PG 4706)
This application is used by individuals who wish to apply for licensure by taking the National Association of State Boards of Geology Fundamentals of Geology examination part administered by the department.

- EDUCATION: Submit Letter of Good Standing or Education Verification to your college or university. For any courses that do not contain the word "Geology" in the title, submit to the Department a syllabus, catalog or other material from the university.
- EXAMINATION: For information about the
examination, including dates, locations, and references, visit the Examination
Information
webpage.
- FEE: Pay the required fee as
provided in the application. If applying online, you can pay with a credit card
or electronic check. If mailing your application, please include a check
payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Military
veterans, their spouses and Florida National Guard members may be eligible for
a fee waiver, fee reimbursement, and/or fee discount. Please visit our DBPR Military
Services page for more information.
