Qualify an Architectural Business Organization (AR 5)
This application is used to qualify an architectural business organization. If an applicant or licensee intends to engage in the practice of architecture as a business organization, or offer architectural services through a business name, the applicant or licensee must apply to be the "qualifying agent" of the business organization. To qualify the business organization, you must hold a Florida architect license, and be a principal officer of the business organization. Important Information: Florida Statutes strictly prohibit the offering or solicitation of architectural services by a business organization prior to the business organization being qualified by a Florida licensed architect.

BUSINESS REGISTRATION: Registration with the Department of State, Division of Corporations including Articles of Incorporation or Organization. For more information visit the Department of State. BUSINESS OFFICER: Florida-licensed architect must be a principal officer of the company to qualify the business.
- SUPERVISORY CONTROL: Florida-licensed architect must be in responsible supervisory control of all business offices including branch offices.
