Asbestos Consultant/Contractor - Licensure as a Business (ALU 2)

This application is used for individuals or businesses who propose to engage in asbestos consulting or contracting. The business must be qualified by a Florida-licensed asbestos consultant or contractor.

Application Requirements:
 
  • FINANCIAL/CREDIT: An applicant shall be required to forward a credit report, financial statement, and either a statement of bond ability or irrevocable letter of credit to the department.
  • BUSINESS REGISTRATION: The company must be registered with the Florida Department of State.
  • INSURANCE: You must have workers' compensation insurance or an exemption. You must also have public liability insurance as set forth in the requirements listed in the application.
  • FEE: Pay the required fee as provided in the application. Make check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
