Initial CPA Sole Proprietor
Application to practice as a sole proprietor CPA firm. You must hold a current active Florida license in order to qualify as a CPA firm.

- Section 47303125(4), F.S., Effective January 1, 2015, a licensed firm or public accounting firm as defined in s. 473.302(7) and licensed under s. 473.3101 and engaged in the practice of public accounting as defined in s. 473.302(8)(a), except for the performance of compilations and reviews as those terms are defined by the board, must be enrolled in a peer review program.
- INDIVIDUAL LICENSE: You must hold a current active Florida CPA license in order to qualify as a CPA firm.
SUNBIZ REGISTRATION: Your
sole proprietorship name must be registered with the Division of Corporations prior to
submitting your application if you are using anything other than your given name. For instance, "John Smith" does not need to be registered, "John Smith CPA" does. Additionally, if you are using a DBA, it
also must be registered with the Division of Corporations as a Fictitious

- FEES: $50 non refundable application fee is required with application.
