Mobile Cosmetology Salon (COSMO 6)
A mobile cosmetology salon is a salon that operates from a mobile vehicle. A Florida cosmetology salon license must be issued and available for posting before a mobile cosmetology can open for business. A new salon application must be submitted for a change of location, name or ownership. Any of these changes void the previous license. All salons will be inspected, with the exception of flea market salons, after the license has been issued. Flea market salons must be inspected before a license can be issued.

- SALON REQUIREMENTS: For a complete list of safety and sanitary requirements please refer to Rule 61G5-20.002, Florida Administrative Code.
- EXAMINATION: You are not required to take the cosmetology examination for a salon license.
FEE:
Pay the required fee as provided in the application. If
applying online, you can pay with a credit card or electronic check. If mailing
your application, please include a check payable to the Department of Business
and Professional Regulation.
