Registered Alarm System Contractor I - Initial Inactive License (ECLB 3)

This application is used to register your county or city competency card and put your license into inactive status. Inactive licenses cannot be used for contracting. Your license can remain in inactive status for as long as you wish. However, you must continue to renew your license every two years by the renewal due date.

Application Requirements:
 
  • EXAMINATION: Provide proof of passing a local licensing examination.
  • Local License: Provide a copy of your local competency card showing inactive status.
  • FEE: Pay the required fee as provided in the application. Make check payable to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Military veterans may be eligible for a fee waiver, fee reimbursement, and/or fee discount. Please visit our DBPR Veterans Services page for more information.
